Applications for
new passports, new born passport, lost and damaged passport will be sent to Lebanon by diplomatic pouch and returned
to the embassy in the same way, it will take a period up to four months. Applicants have the option to apply for a new passport using the
DHL service: http://fasttracklb.dhl.com

The application can be sent through DHL fasttracklb.dhl.com with an
additional cost of 97 $ to be paid online by Credit Card and takes a period of 7 to 9 weeks.

DHL documents should be printed and presented at the Embassy upon applying.
Getting a new electronic passport
Required documents for applying for the new specimen electronic passport (blue color)
Fill out a passport application form and present it to the embassy with the following documents:
The original passport with one copy including the residency page
Copy of civil status (Ikhraj Kaid Ifrady) date of
issue must not exceed 10 years, or Lebanese ID (computerized)
Two recent color photos (Size 4.3 x 3.5 cm not drawn from other
photos) showing full details of the face on a white background
The
applicant should be present at the embassy. The presence of both
parents is required for applicants who are under eighteen
years of age. No need for the child to attend only if there is a photo on the Lebanese identity (hawiyi) or ikhraj qayd fardy.
In case of divorce, the applicant must present a ruling on a legitimate guardianship issued from Lebanon to apply for his/her child.
Fees: 225 AED for one year and 1105 AED for five years
Kindly note that starting 15/09/2022 issuing and/or renewal of a Lebanese passport for one year has stopped. Only issuing of a Lebanese passport for five years is processed.
Lebanese passport renewal
Passports of the new specimen (blue passport) may be renewed for one year on condition to apply for a new passport at the same time or sign a consent that they are traveling to Lebanon to apply for a biometric passport.
Lost Passports
A lost passport should be reported immediately to the local police, a copy of the police report is required. If you lost your passport you must apply for a new specimen passport-blue color.
- A laissez passer valid for three months is given for the purpose of returning to Lebanon, fees 225 AED
- The applicant should be present in person to apply for laissez passer
Requirements for a new passport:

- 2 copies of the lost passport
- The original police report
- 2 Recent
copies of civil status (Ikhraj Kaid Ifrady) date of issue must not
exceed 10 years, or Lebanese ID (new one computerized)
- 2 recent color photos (Size 4.3 x 3.5 cm not drawn from other photos) showing full details of the face on a white background
- Forms must be filled out in person at the embassy
- Fees: 225 AED for one year,1105 AED for five years

Replacement of a damaged passport
Required documents:
- A laissez passer valid for three months is given for the purpose of returning to Lebanon
- The applicant should be present in person to apply for laissez passer
Fill out the Application form (Application for New Passport) and present it to the embassy with the following documents:
- 2 Copies of the damaged passport and UAE residency
- 2 copies of civil status (Ikhraj Kaid Ifrady) date of issue must not exceed 10 years, or Lebanese ID (computerized).
- 2 recent color photos (Size 4.3 x 3.5 cm not drawn from other photos)
showing full details of the face on a white background
- Forms must be filled out in person at the embassy
- Fees: 225 AED for one year, 1105 AED for five years
Issuing a passport for a new born
The presence of both parents is required for applicants.
No need for the child to attend
only if there is a photo on the Lebanese identity (hawiyi) or ikhraj qayd fardi.
Required documents:
- Fill a new Lebanese Passport application
- Original personal extract of civil status (Ikhraj Kaid Ifrady) with two copies
- Original passports of both parents with two copies
- Two copies of the parents UAE residency
- Two recent color photos (Size 4.3 x 3.5 cm not drawn from other photos) showing full details of the face on a white background
- Fees: 225 AED for one year and 1105 AED for five years
